JUNIOR DESIGNER

Lucinda Loya is looking for a Junior Interior Designer with experience in high-end residential and hospitality projects to join our team. The ideal candidate is creative, resourceful and motivated, with a high level of organization and attention to detail, and can contribute to ongoing projects.

DUTIES

  • This person should be able to collaborate seamlessly with the designers, vendors and fabricators on multiple projects.

  • Responsible for supporting the process on material sourcing and specifications, custom furniture design, visual research, concept creation, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, while adhering to fast-paced project timelines.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years of experience in interiors or architecture and a degree from an accredited school.

  • Passion for design and an eye for detail.

  • Excellent 2D drawing and rendering ability.

  • Working knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation.

  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • 3D modeling and realistic rendering skills would be a plus.

  • Support the team in sourcing unique pieces, including limited-edition decor, artwork and luxury textiles.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team.

DIGITAL MEDIA INTERN

Lucinda Loya Interiors is seeking a passionate and creative Digital Media Intern to join our team. This is a paid role that offers an exceptional opportunity to learn from industry leaders while gaining hands-on experience in content creation and digital marketing. If you’re eager to apply your digital media skills in a creative environment and contribute to our brand’s reach, we want to meet you.

DUTIES

  • Collaborate with the leadership and social media team to craft visually compelling videography and photography that elevates and promotes LLI across various social media platforms.

  • Contribute innovative content ideas and leverage creative vision to drive engagement and brand awareness.

  • Proficiency in operating professional cameras and using editing software such as CapCut, Lightroom, Photoshop, and other relevant platforms to create high-quality content.

  • Help with editing and capturing content.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Digital Media, Social Media, Communications, Photography or a related field.

  • Proficiency in design and editing software, including CapCut, Canva, Photoshop, or similar apps.

  • Strong sense of aesthetics with a keen eye for color, texture, and detail.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

SENIOR DESIGNER

Lucinda Loya is looking for a Senior Interior Designer with experience in high-end residential and hospitality projects to join our team. The ideal candidate is creative, resourceful and motivated, with a high level of organization and attention to detail, who is able to lead a strong design team and act in a project management role. Sophisticated taste is a must!

DUTIES

  • Lead and manage design teams to meet project deliverables according to defined timelines.

  • Collaborate and interface seamlessly with clients, as well as other designers, architects,contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects.

  • Responsible for material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, in addition to maintaining budgets and project timelines.

  • Assist in the process of creating project documentation including the submission of a full drawing set, specification writing, schedules, a nd construction administration (submittal, RFI, ASI/IDSK review/response and consultant coordination).

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5-10 years of experience in interiors.

  • Passion for design and an eye for detail.

  • Excellent hand sketching and rendering ability.

  • Knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation.

  • High proficiency in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illu strator, InDesign), SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a creative team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

INTERIOR DESIGN INTERN

Lucinda Loya Interiors is seeking a passionate and creative Interior Design Intern to join our team. This is a paid role that offers an exceptional opportunity to learn from industry leaders while gaining hands-on experience in luxury residential and commercial design projects. If you’re eager to explore bespoke design concepts and contribute to high-end spaces, we’d love to meet you.

DUTIES

  • Assist the design team with concept development, mood boards, and space planning.

  • Organize and maintain sample libraries, ensuring materials are up-to-date and accessible.

  • Participate in team meetings, client presentations, and site visits to gain exposure to the full design process.

  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, material pickups or dropoffs, organizing digital files, and assisting with vendor coordination.

  • Conduct research on design trends, luxury furnishings, and innovative materials to inspire project concepts.
