Fall is coming in hot!… or cold? Whatever it is, the Houston air has us swirling with ideas for the Fall 2022 fashion trends. Here at LLI, we say fashion and interiors go hand-in-hand. So here’s what we think will shine this season.

1. Metallics

Metallics found their way into our shoes and handbags this Summer, but we believe the stunning sheen will express itself in subtle ways throughout Fall and Winter. Button-ups, mini skirts, claw clips, or a sexy pair of wide-leg cowboy boots will be the perfect touch to our Fall wardrobe. Pair with a sparkly black ensemble and you have yourself a killer GNO look.

2. Tea Dresses and Boots

A fashion-forward way to transition your wardrobe from Summer to Fall, especially in the warmer states (*cough cough* Texas) is by pairing your maxi tea dresses with a pair of knee-high boots – preferably cowboy. A dynamic take on sophistication with a bit of an edge.. we love it!

3. Denim Midi Skirts

Aren’t you glad you didn’t throw that skirt away from the 90’s? It’s baaaaaack. The comfy, yet ever-so-chic looking skirt was the hit of NYFW and will continue to be this Fall. Whether you’re headed to the Saturday Farmer’s Market, running errands, or going out to lunch with friends, a denim midi skirt will always leave you looking (and feeling) you’re best.

4. Leather Sets

Who said sets are just for the warmer months? The leather pant trend from last season just got a whole lot better. Pair your favorites with a leather jacket, vest, or corset to create the creme de la creme of outfits this season.

5. Brown

Brown is not just the color of the season fashion-wise, but also in interiors. Brown is back! Now, we know what you’re thinking, and no, we are not talking about the kitchen you had back in 07′. Brown is being implemented in small, but mighty, ways! Whether that’s in a rug, wood tone, or leather accents – we have seen less white-on-white and more warmth throughout the home.
